Nestled on the edge of the forests of Hepburn Regional Park and the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve, Stormhaven Lodge is a truly special and unique home offering the ultimate treetop escape. Surrounded by serene bushland yet just minutes from the indulgent spas, charming cafés, award-winning restaurants, boutique shops, and everyday conveniences of Hepburn Springs and Daylesford, this is where tranquillity meets accessibility.
Entry is via the sheltered paved and rock-walled courtyard with gas BBQ on the northern side of the house. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the upstairs open-plan living area seems to float amongst the treetops and leads out directly to the wide elevated balcony.
In the cooler months, you can relax in front of the huge open fireplace, with your first evening’s firewood supplied. The large Samsung smart TV features a Netflix subscription. While the Daylesford and Hepburn Springs area is renowned for its range of superb restaurants, if you choose to stay in you will find everything you need to prepare your own meals in the spacious modern kitchen.
Also upstairs are two bright bedrooms with gorgeous views (one with a king-size bed and one with a queen-size bed), a family bathroom and a powder room. Both bedrooms have split-system air conditioners for both heating and cooling, as does the living area.
A charming spiral staircase winds down to the lower level, which also has its own external access from the garden. Effectively a separate apartment, it features a polished concrete floor, a generous living area with a woodburning heater (also with the first evening’s firewood supplied), a bedroom with a double bed and split-system air conditioning, a spacious en suite bathroom and a private sheltered deck. And, of course, yet more entrancing views of the surrounding forest through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Outside, the property has been thoughtfully designed with terraced pathways and timber boardwalks for easy access to utility areas and gardens.
Despite its serene forest setting, Stormhaven Lodge is located just a 1 minute drive from the famous Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa in the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve, 2 minutes from the cafés, restaurants, day spas and much-loved General Store of charming Hepburn Springs village, and just 5 minutes from the buzz of neighbouring Daylesford, with its boutique shops, quirky antique stores, art galleries, delis and grocers, and an astonishing array of gourmet dining options.

Guests have full and exclusive access to the entire property except for a cleaner's storage room and the garden sheds.
This property is on a fairly steeply sloping 1 acre block. There are many steps both inside and outside the house, so it is probably not suitable for guests with mobility issues.
The bathrooms both have showers but no bathtubs.
Dogs are welcome, including inside the house. There is a secure enclosure in the front yard with direct access to the house via a medium-size dog flat in the laundry door. Dogs may not be off-lead anywhere else outside.
